Odd/Even goals — sometimes called Total Goals Odd/Even or Goals Parity — is a football market where you predict whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be an odd or even number. The margin of victory, the result, and which team scored do not matter: only the raw goal count at full-time.
The basic rule
- Even — total goals at full-time is 0, 2, 4, 6, or any other even number. A 0-0 draw counts as even (zero is an even number).
- Odd — total goals at full-time is 1, 3, 5, 7, or any other odd number.
There are only two outcomes. There is no draw or void result — every match produces either an odd or even total.

What counts as a goal
Standard Odd/Even markets settle on goals scored in 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Goals in extra time and penalty shootouts do not count unless the bookmaker explicitly states "including extra time." Own goals count as normal goals (they add to the total).

Odd/Even versus Over/Under
Odd/Even and Over/Under are different markets that both involve total goals:
- Over/Under 2.5 — you predict whether total goals will be above or below 2.5. There is a direction: more goals or fewer goals.
- Odd/Even — you predict the parity of the total. A match with 5 goals is both "Over 2.5" and "Odd." A match with 2 goals is "Under 2.5" and "Even."
The two markets are independent. You can win one and lose the other on the same match.
